Current Needs
We are currently seeking donations of point and shoot cameras in good condition. These cameras will supplement curriculum units, as well as provide an opportunity for photography clubs within the program. Donations can be dropped off at High Desert Leapin' Lizards, 1313 N. With the increase in minimum wage and the limited funding received per student for the After School program, our programs are at risk of reducing the amount of children we can serve. Volunteer TimeWhat can I do?
You can make a big difference in a child's life! As an High Desert Leapin' Lizards volunteer, you can help a child with homework, coach a basketball team, read to a preschool class, serve as a role model for kids, or help out at a special event. As a volunteer, you'll be working with other caring, committed people who want to make a difference in our community. How do I apply? High Desert Leapin' Lizards volunteers undergo an interview, orientation and training process.
